John J. Beneigh, Jr. age
59, of Stirling Drive, Butler, Pennsylvania, died Tuesday, December
15, 2009 at 9:20 a.m. at his residence.
Born May 9, 1950 in Butler, Pennsylvania, he was the son of John J. Beneigh and Alma (Nuth) Beneigh. Mr. Beneigh attended Community Alliance Church. He worked at the Eagle Printery and Wise Business Forms as their controller and treasurer. He graduated from Butler High School and Robert Morris University where he received a bachelors degree in Accounting. Mr. Beneigh was a member of National Accountant Association and Butler Area Landlords Association. Mr. Beneigh enjoyed being with his family, traveling, and bicycling. John is survived by his wife, Margie Beneigh, whom he married on Febuary 19, 1972 and by two sons, John J. Beneigh III and his wife, Sarah of Butler, and Andrew J. Beneigh and his wife, Sara of Zelienople, Pennsylvania; one daughter, Mary (Beneigh) Ford and her husband, Douglas of Butler; one sister, Darlene (Beneigh) Morse and her husband, Harry of Vienna, Virignia; seven grandchildren, Jack and Lauren Beneigh, Carter, Avery and Preston Beneigh, Jefferson and Jill Ford; and by eighteen nieces and nephews. Mr. Beneigh was preceded in death by one infant brother. Friends will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street, Butler, Pennsylvania on Thursday, December 17, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held at First United Methodist Church on Friday, December 18, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Oden Warman and Reverend Dr. David Panther officiating.
